The workshop sequence was established to increase employee skills in rapid prototyping and ensure that the MakerSpace is used to its full capacity in support of any work-related projects across the center.
The workshops began with the most commonly used machines: laser cutter, 3D printers, and desktop CNC mill. This series has been organized and documented such that it can be easily continued across multiple future semesters of internships.
This draft video was filmed and edited by me to produce a promotional video for the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center MakerSpace.

A primary part of my time this summer went to supporting other projects through one-on-one sessions with new users including file setup, equipment safety, and other general information about the space. The images below show some of the projects I helped to print and laser cut. Furthermore, I did a lot of machine troubleshooting and maintenance to solve various problems that arose over the course of machine use.
